Policy & Procedure Development
Not sure where to start when it comes to required DOT driver files, hours-of-service records, or maintenance files?
Missing or incomplete records can lead to costly fines or shut downs. Let us help you develop your policies and records to ensure they are and remain in compliance with the safety regulations.
New Entrant Safety Assurance Program
Compliance, Safety and Accountability (CSA)
CSA stands for Compliance, Safety, Accountability. It is the safety compliance and enforcement program of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) that holds motor carriers and drivers accountable for their role in safety.
CSA affects motor carriers, including owner-operators, by identifying those with safety problems to prioritize them for interventions such as warning letters and investigations.
CSA affects drivers because their safety performance and compliance impact their safety records and, while working for a carrier, will impact their carrier’s safety record.
Hazardous Materials Regulations and Registration
Are you a transporter of regulated hazardous materials and/or hazardous substances?
Your company may be required to register as a transporter. We can assist in determining what applies to your operation to ensure you are in compliance. Some of the basic requirements are registration, employee training, driver licensing and insurance, just to name a few.
DataQ Challenge Support
DataQs is an FMCSA system that allows users to request and track a review of Federal and State data issued by FMCSA believed to be incomplete or incorrect.
If you have a driver that received an erroneous violation in a roadside inspection or collision, we can assist in correction and possible removal of that violation through the DataQ system.
The system enables all users—motor carriers, drivers and their representatives, as well as FMCSA and its State partners—to improve the accuracy of FMCSA’s data-driven safety systems that help prevent crashes, injuries, and fatalities related to commercial motor vehicles.
Montgomery v. Caribe Transport II
and how it affects the way your safety score is viewed
New Entrant Safety Assurance Programs affect US and Canada-based motor carriers. A New Entrant is a motor carrier that applies for a U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) identification number, in order to initiate operations in interstate commerce.
Starting a trucking company is an exciting milestone but if you're a New Entrant, one of the most important things you'll face in your first 12 months of operation is a New Entrant Safety Audit by the Department of Transportation (DOT) through the FMCSA or state partner. Its purpose is to assess whether your company has basic safety systems in place.
Let us help you take the guesswork out of preparing for this important step.
